CHOICE is a day provision for adults with Learning disabilities living the in the West Cornwall area.
CHOICE subscribes to the belief that people with Learning Disabilities have the right to a locally based person centred provision that will increase their choice and opportunities in all aspects of their daily life, including evenings and weekends. We work to reduce social isolation by supporting people to develop friendships in their own communities. To enable people to experience the same opportunities, successes and failures as others and empower people to plan and lead their own activities and projects.

At GOAL we want to enable service users to pursue the normality of life, the work habit, achieving tasks and be successful at a personal level. We encourage them to push their own boundaries of confidence and competence and we want people to enjoy working alongside us. We seek to achieve a sense of fun and they take away knowledge that is relevant to their own ability. We have workshops where you can learn woodworking, woodturning, mechanics,and engineering . We do all the maintenance around the farm. We do construction skills. Also horticultural.We breed pigs and keep chickens. We have a shop in Liskeard to sell the items we have made. We have social evenings – skittles, barbecues etc.

Holifield Farm Project day care is a facility for adults with learning disabilities and special needs. Here trainees can safely experience life and work on the friendly community farm project. We agree an individual and varied programme of activities with each trainee that meets their needs. We are committed to giving trainees the opportunity to develop life skills and to reach their full potential as valued individuals.
A 50-acre working farm run by Robert Owen Communities with mixed livestock, horticulture, conservation and land management, woodwork, craft workshops and farm shop. This day service site offers farm based opportunities for work experience and training for adults with learning disabilities. NPTC accredited training courses available. Sporting and social activities in the evenings and weekends too including a Samba Band.
